Steps

  1. Sit on the floor with legs crossed.
  2. Tuck both feet between the opposite thigh and calf so only the toes peep out.
  3. Sit erect — spine, neck and head aligned.
  4. Rest hands on knees in Jnana or Chin mudra.
  5. Close the eyes, breathe naturally, and hold.

Caution

  • If knees are elevated, place a folded blanket under the hips.
