Steps

  1. Sit with legs extended. Bend the right knee over the left, stacking knees.
  2. Right heel should be near the left hip; left heel near the right hip.
  3. Sit evenly on both sitting bones.
  4. Hands rest on the feet or knees in a meditative mudra.
  5. Spine erect. Hold, breathe deeply, then switch sides.

Caution

  • Avoid if you have acute knee injury. Use a cushion under the hips if needed.
