Steps

  1. Sit in Padmasana (full lotus).
  2. Insert both hands between the thighs and calves.
  3. Place palms flat on the floor beside the hips.
  4. On an inhale, press the palms down and lift the entire body off the floor.
  5. Hold, gaze at a point, and lower slowly on an exhale.

Caution

  • Advanced pose — build wrist and arm strength first. Not for beginners.
